At Eagle Bluff, our classes strive to:

  • Awaken the wonder of discovery by providing hands-on learning experiences.
  • Encourage the wise use and stewardship of our natural resources.
  • Demonstrate the balance between humans and nature.
  • Reinforce the values of personal responsibility and respect for oneself and others.
  • Impart critical life skills such as teamwork, problem solving, and community involvement.

Day classes are 3-hours long, limited to no more than 20 students and designed to meet Minnesota State Academic Standards for grades 5-8 in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Math and Physical Education.

At a minimum, all Eagle Bluff instructors have earned a bachelor's degree in an educational or environmental field and work hard to encourage and help students focus on positively experiencing the outdoors through personalized classes.
